Masie is a sweet and happy little girl!
She is quickly settling in to the routine at her foster home and loves to run and play in the back yard, whether she's chasing tennis balls or just doing zoomies.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Have you downloaded the Red Stamp app (free) onto your smart phone? What are you waiting for? I sent an adorable Thanksgiving card to my friends and family this morning via text. You can also create invitations. I think Facebook events are slowly becoming a thing of the past. As much as I personally loved them, it seems that no one RSVP's to them. Anyone else have that problem? The thing I like about the Red Stamp app is that you can personalize your card/invitation and then choose how you send it weather it be by mail, text, email, etc. I know for sure that the next time I host a little something, I will be using Red Stamp to send invites by text. No more Facebook events for me!

Sooooo Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from me and mine

PS. If you are like me and beating the crowds this Black Friday by shopping online, don't forget to go through Ebates first so that you can earn money back on your purchase (I absolutely hate when I buy something online and forget to go through Ebates first. It's THE WORST). Let's face it... you can get just as good deals (and sometimes better) online as you can in the store! Have fun shopping ya'll.

Recipe, Pull Apart Cheesy Bread

Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I am oh so excited to spend time with my family and enjoy a delicious dinner. This will be my first Thanksgiving that I opt out of turkey and I am a-okay with it. It was about a year ago that I decided to stop eating meat... for various reasons. There are so many other dishes and deliciousness that I get to indulge in though! What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I'd have to say mine is green bean casserole. I know some people hate it but I just love love love it.

Speaking of yummy food, I wanted to share this garlic cheesy bread recipe with you all today. I made it Monday evening for the Ravens game and Jon's friends ate it up! Super easy is the way I go.

What you'll need:
1. Bread (I used Italian bread)
2. Pepper jack cheese (I used "cracker cuts" because they were already cut into the size I needed)

3. Butter
4. Green onion
5. Garlic
6. Salt, pepper, and oregano

What to do:
1. Slice your bread diagonally each way
2. Melt 1 stick of butter
3. Press 4 garlic cloves into your hot butter
4. Add salt, pepper, and oregano to butter
5. Stick slices of cheese into the slots in the bread
6. Pour your butter mixture on top (making sure it gets into each slot)
7. Cook at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
8. Top with sliced green onion and serve with ranch dressing

{Pictured below is only a half serving of the recipe}

Outtakes from Our Family Photo Shoot

I don't like to spend a fortune on Christmas cards... so that means photo shoots in our back yard, taken on our smart phones and coupon codes for online ordering! We used Jon's brand new Samsung Note to take the pics and I can't stop raving about the quality of photos that came from it. When we picked out the photos that will actually be used on the card, I then edited them with a free app I have on my phone. Next I picked a gorgeous card from Tiny Prints because I had a coupon code for 30% off and free shipping. I can't wait to show you the final product in a few weeks after we send out the cards to friends and family! But in the mean time here are some of our outtakes. These photos are not edited, cropped, etc.

I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was to get my pets to cooperate. Throw a bow tie and some sweaters and scarves on them and they loose it. Despite that, I think we actually managed to get a pretty decent card out of it. You don't always have to spend tons of money on getting professional photos done and I hope that my Christmas card proves that... stay tuned :)

Happy Friday!

1. Just a friendly reminder: Pets aren't just for Christmas, they are for life! If your family is ready for the commitment please consider giving the gift of life this holiday season and adopt... DON'T SHOP. Shelters and rescues are full of animals needing homes. Check out www.petango.com , www.petfinder.com , or do a quick google search for local shelters and rescues (I may be a bit biased but BARCS and Baltimore Bully Crew are awesome!)

{Sorry, the animal lover in me just had to post that}

2. The $300 Michael Kors Giftcard Giveaway ends Monday. You can enter daily and earn bonus entries by sharing with your friends on social media. See this post to enter.

3. I still need guest bloggers while I'm on my honeymoon from Monday December 29th to Friday January 2nd. If you are a blogger and are interested in doing a guest post, please leave a comment or contact me here!

4. Loving this dainty necklace that was in November's MissionCute box!!!

5. Has anyone tried Blue Apron? Today on Rue LaLa they have a Blue Apron sale. Definitely would like to hear from someone who has tried it before. I'm thinking $39 for 3 dinners (each dinner is for 2 people) is a great deal and I don't want to miss it.

{they have a meat/fish option AND A vegan/vegetarian option!!!}

Joining these 3 link ups...

Restaurant Review, Fork and Wrench

Name: Fork and Wrench

Location: 2322 Boston Street Baltimore, MD 21224 I wouldn't call it the Canton area and I wouldn't call it the Fells Point area... it's right in between! If you know where the Captain James Restaurant is (you can't really miss it), it's a block from there. Your only option for parking is the street or valet (not complimentary).

{Absolutely gorgeous outside}

Prices: Our total bill was only about $70 but we decided to do a couple of appetizers and some drinks rather than a normal dinner where we would split an appetizer and each get an entree.

Each appetizer was $12-$15 and the proportions were large. In fact Jon got the pork belly appetizer and it looked like an entree!

Food: We started out splitting the fried oysters which were just okay... we've had better. We weren't a fan of the lemon aioli because we thought the lemon flavor was too strong. The pickled chiles were great with it though (and not spicy).

Jon got the pork belly which was delicious! Served on top of a bed of mashed potatoes and some marinated grapes. He thought the grapes would be too sweet but he ended up loving them! And I did too! He got so full from this that we didn't get anything else to eat like we planned.

I got the cheese board (because I thought we were going to get something else after that lol). It was a generous size... I've been to places where they only give small portions of cheese but this wasn't the case. I had 3 to choose from with a yummy jam, olives, and toasted bread. I enjoyed the cheese but the blue cheese was a bit strong for my liking. I'm sure others would disagree.

Ambiance: A cute eclectic place... very small! It was hard to get a drink at the bar while we waited for our table because I felt like I was in the way- servers were trying to get to their tables. We were seated upstairs in a little side room where it was actually pretty dark. I didn't mind but it was hard to get good pictures! Tables were set with linen napkins and a candle. Our server brought us water right away and was very attentive the entire time but I thought he could have been a little friendlier. I noticed that the employees all help each other and seem to have a good comradery. No complaints as far as service goes! And I can say we will probably be back next Spring or Summer to try out the new menu since it changes seasonally :)

{The cute booths on the main floor... see how close they are to the bar? No standing room}
